I am a third generation Texan, born in College Station and raised in the Hill Country. I am a Smithson Valley High School graduate- (go Rangers!) and attended San Antonio College in the Radio, Television and Film department. I have been on the air in San Antonio area radio since 1994 and with Radio New Braunfels for the last five years. I have a twenty-year-old son, and have been married to the same wonderful man for nearly twenty-one years now. When I’m not listening to music I love riding my Yamaha Virago motorcycle, playing with my dog, and creating custom tie-dye designs.

You can hear my show from 11 am to 3 pm weekdays on 92.1 FM, and it pays to listen- I love to give away guest list spots and tickets to all the great live music in the area. If you’ve got a special request give me a call and I’ll try to oblige. I always like to hear from our listeners!

I have loved Americana music since I first found it here on KNBT, and I love to sing along with it. Mattson actually had me turned up in the studio singing once, when I was on remote at NB Mattress and Bruce Robison was in there with him…I still need to get him back for that one!

Anyhow, that’s probably why I have such a good head for lyrics. If you’ve heard something on the station and you’re not sure who sings it, give me a call, feed me a line or two of the lyrics and it’s pretty likely I’ll be able to help you out with the artist and/or song name. Or if it’s an older song, I can usually help with that too. Lyrics and musical trivia stay in my head for a long time. What I had to eat at my last meal I probably can’t tell you, but I’ll rattle off the names of band members that haven’t played together in twenty years… What can I say- I LOVE MUSIC!
